The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA)

A Journey into the Catholic Faith

The RCIA is the Church’s official process for welcoming adults into the Catholic faith. Its origins go back to the early Church, when new believers were guided through a period of learning and formation before being fully received into the Christian community.

Today, this journey continues through the RCIA programme — a structured and supportive way to explore Catholic teaching, spirituality, and life.

  • One evening session per week

  • Online via Zoom or Skype

  • For those who feel ready, it may culminate in being received into the Church during the Easter Vigil
