They are outward signs of inward grace, symbols through which God works in the lives of believers to strengthen faith, forgive sins, and unite us with the body of Christ.<\/p><h3 data-start=\"462\" data-end=\"490\">\u00a0<\/h3><h3 class=\"\" data-start=\"462\" data-end=\"490\"><strong data-start=\"466\" data-end=\"490\">The Seven Sacraments<\/strong><\/h3><p class=\"\" data-start=\"492\" data-end=\"639\">In Catholic Church, there are <strong data-start=\"618\" data-end=\"638\">seven Sacraments<\/strong>:<\/p><ol data-start=\"641\" data-end=\"2045\"><li class=\"\" data-start=\"641\" data-end=\"830\"><p class=\"\" data-start=\"644\" data-end=\"830\"><strong data-start=\"644\" data-end=\"655\">Baptism<\/strong><br data-start=\"655\" data-end=\"658\" \/>The gateway to the Christian life, Baptism cleanses us from original sin and welcomes us into the family of God. It symbolizes rebirth through water and the Holy Spirit.<\/p><\/li><li class=\"\" data-start=\"832\" data-end=\"1065\"><p class=\"\" data-start=\"835\" data-end=\"1065\"><strong data-start=\"835\" data-end=\"865\">Eucharist (Holy Communion)<\/strong><br data-start=\"865\" data-end=\"868\" \/>The source and summit of Christian life, the Eucharist is the sacrament of Christ\u2019s Body and Blood. Through this sacred meal, which is Jesus himself, we are nourished spiritually and united with Christ and one another.<\/p><\/li><li class=\"\" data-start=\"1067\" data-end=\"1278\"><p class=\"\" data-start=\"1070\" data-end=\"1278\"><strong data-start=\"1070\" data-end=\"1086\">Confirmation<\/strong><br data-start=\"1086\" data-end=\"1089\" \/>This sacrament strengthens the grace of Baptism. Through the anointing with the Holy Spirit, it deepens our bond with the Church and empowers us to live as mature witnesses of the faith.<\/p><\/li><li class=\"\" data-start=\"1280\" data-end=\"1478\"><p class=\"\" data-start=\"1283\" data-end=\"1478\"><strong data-start=\"1283\" data-end=\"1325\">Reconciliation (Confession or Penance)<\/strong><br data-start=\"1325\" data-end=\"1328\" \/>Through confession and absolution, we experience the mercy of God, receive forgiveness for our sins, and are restored to communion with the Church.<\/p><\/li><li class=\"\" data-start=\"1480\" data-end=\"1669\"><p class=\"\" data-start=\"1483\" data-end=\"1669\"><strong data-start=\"1483\" data-end=\"1508\">Anointing of the Sick<\/strong><br data-start=\"1508\" data-end=\"1511\" \/>This sacrament offers comfort, peace, and healing to those who are ill or elderly. It reminds us of Christ&#8217;s compassion and the Church&#8217;s prayerful support.<\/p><\/li><li class=\"\" data-start=\"1671\" data-end=\"1830\"><p class=\"\" data-start=\"1674\" data-end=\"1830\"><strong data-start=\"1674\" data-end=\"1689\">Holy Orders<\/strong><br data-start=\"1689\" data-end=\"1692\" \/>Through this sacrament, men are ordained as deacons, priests, or bishops to serve and shepherd the people of God in a life of ministry.<\/p><\/li><li class=\"\" data-start=\"1832\" data-end=\"2045\"><p class=\"\" data-start=\"1835\" data-end=\"2045\"><strong data-start=\"1835\" data-end=\"1859\">Matrimony (Marriage)<\/strong><br data-start=\"1859\" data-end=\"1862\" \/>A sacred covenant between a man and a woman, Matrimony mirrors the love of Christ for His Church. It blesses the couple with grace to live out their vows faithfully and fruitfully.<\/p><\/li><\/ol><hr class=\"\" data-start=\"2047\" data-end=\"2050\" \/><h3>\u00a0<\/h3><h3><strong data-start=\"2056\" data-end=\"2093\">A Channel of Grace and Commitment<\/strong><\/h3><p class=\"\" data-start=\"2095\" data-end=\"2324\">Whether experienced at key life moments or regularly in our spiritual journey, the Sacraments are encounters with the living Christ.
