A Journey into the Catholic Faith<\/strong><\/h3>

The RCIA<\/strong> is the Church\u2019s official process for welcoming adults into the Catholic faith. Its origins go back to the early Church, when new believers were guided through a period of learning and formation before being fully received into the Christian community.<\/p>

Today, this journey continues through the RCIA programme \u2014 a structured and supportive way to explore Catholic teaching, spirituality, and life.<\/p>

Who is it for?<\/strong><\/h3>

This course is open to:<\/p>

  • Those considering becoming Catholic (whether baptised in another Christian tradition or not)<\/p><\/li>

  • Anyone who wishes to deepen their understanding of the Catholic faith<\/p><\/li><\/ul>

    No prior knowledge is needed \u2014 just a heart open to learning and growing.<\/p>

    How is it delivered?<\/strong><\/h3>

    • One evening session per week<\/strong><\/p><\/li>

    • Online via Zoom or Skype<\/strong><\/p><\/li>

    • Spread over several months<\/strong><\/p><\/li>

    • For those who feel ready, it may culminate in being received into the Church during the Easter Vigil<\/strong><\/p><\/li><\/ul>

      Drawing on Scripture, the Catechism of the Catholic Church, and other trusted sources, sessions include:<\/p>

      • The Old and New Testaments<\/p><\/li>

      • The life of Jesus and the role of Mary<\/p><\/li>

      • Sin, Forgiveness, and Grace<\/p><\/li>

      • The Sacraments (Baptism, Confirmation, Eucharist, Marriage)<\/p><\/li>

      • Death and Resurrection<\/p><\/li>

      • Teachings and traditions of the Church<\/p><\/li><\/ul>
