Suspension of Masses

Because of Father Wilson’s sudden death, I have had to make a very difficult decision to suspend all Masses in Burton Latimer, Rothwell and Desborough from November 30 (inclusive). Next week November 23/24, Father Brian will celebrate all Masses in Kettering, and I will celebrate Masses in Desborough, Burton Latimer and Rothwell. From November 30 (inclusive) there will be no Mass in Desborough, Burton Latimer or Rothwell until a new priest is appointed for our parish. I hope this will happen very soon! Please, pray for new vocations and new priests for our diocese and support me with your prayers in my ministry.

Because of my hospital responsibilities, from and inclusive of November 23. I have decided to suspend morning Masses on Saturdays at St Edward’s in Kettering. I have also suspended evening Masses on Mondays at St Edward’s (my day off) effective from and inclusive of the 25 November, until further notice.

Thank you for all of your prayers and condolences relating to Father Wilson.  As soon as we have any more information regarding the Requiem Mass we will announce this to you.
